General Soedirman's guerrilla war was conducted by moving through the regions of Central Java and East Java, covering hundreds of kilometers over seven months in 1948-1949. The journey and route of resistance began from Yogyakarta, passing through various areas, including: 1. Yogyakarta Special Region & surrounding areas: Bantul and Gunungkidul. 2. Southern part of Central Java: Wonogiri, Pracimantoro, to Pacitan. 3. East Java: Trenggalek, Kediri, Nganjuk (Bajulan), and surrounding areas before finally returning to Yogyakarta
